Reusing clay
The 10-day Building Workshop 2025 will teach basic craftsmanship and renovation techniques in connection with the energy efficiency upgrade of historic half-timbered buildings. The workshop will be supplemented by preparatory sessions (excursion to a clay factory, materials science laboratories, processing recycled clay). The practical work will focus on the common rooms on the ground floor of the building. Various types of interior insulation (e.g. wood fiber) will be used.
